Tower Hamlets Archive Library is a good place to start. The Library is situated within and the Queen Mary University and the Mile End Hospital; on Bancroft Road.

This place is generally for reference but does and has various awareness events about all the communities living in Tower Hamlets. 


The library holds multitude of materials about the Bangladeshi Community but not everything.

They have selections of books recent and past about the community written by various authors for various reasons and this selection is increasing.


Over the last few years, there has been various initiatives undertaken by the Library to structure the information about the Bangladeshi community.


If you are computer savvy then you can use their on-line catalogue or pop in, it is free for all to visit and use.
